Late post- Last week I sent in an email to UA griping about how the E-500's that I earned and some that I purchased are just going to go "POOF" and UA expects me not to say anything. It really wasn't a rant, as I am usually quite pleased with the airline and I just wanted to let them know I was unhappy (in a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant's way ). I actually asked if the 12 E-500's could be converted to a CR-1. The response was pretty much a surprise to me:

I took to the $150 e-cert due to the fact that I'm now a Federal Employee and the travel budget for my section is "Zero". I have exactly O EQM's and 0 EQS's for the year so far. so the only travel I see in the near future is a vacation with the wife to somewhere close! Oh well.
