No, they are catered for both directions. On my LAX flights I didn't have to ask for. I was always asked, whether or not I want a PJ. The LX PJ could be pretty warm however. That's, why I usually have the lighter LH version with me. Much more comfortable, when the cabin is not cooled down enough.
