I have sent the odd letter in the past both via snail mail and eMail/online feedback tool - and I can't help feeling that the replies from the online/email complaints are a little [I]too[I] fast, almost like they have some automatic word recegnition tool that recognises the word "late" and sends reply 52(P)E or "dirty" and sends reply 13(P)E or "Delta" and reply 08(P)E...

Replies to letters printed out signed and sent seem to be just a little more personal (although I'm sure they never land on anybody important's desk).

Like Cupart, I really wonder if these go any further than CS and actually end with the line manager in charge of the issue?
