See, this is exactly where I respectfully disagree with you based on the facts in evidence, but that's fine, neither of us is going to convince the other and neither of us has any say in what happens.

Indeed, since the cat is already out of the bag, the officials have a responsibility to investigate. At this point, the best thing would actually be for me to be dead wrong about this, because then the resources wouldn't have been wasted in a pointless search and the family wouldn't have had to suffer through having this whole story dragged back into the spotlight for naught. Who knows, Baden might even get to write another book or host another TV show about it.

Oh, and to your question, more than you might think - ever heard of Chuuk / Truk Lagoon?
