Thanks Superslug...The website is very helpful, and it seems like I'd get a lot more for my money. One question though, I couldn't quite figure out. Let's say I'm a Platinum member. Does this mean, for example: that for a RT J class fare from YVR-BKK (about 18,000 miles), I'd get an additional 18,000 as PLAT? So, 36,000 miles for one trip? Do all of the 36,000 miles count towards status? This means less than 2 RTs would put me back at Platinum? Seems too easy! Also, there is something about exchanging 4 upgrades for each 10,000 miles for ANOTHER 10,000 miles. Does this mean I could fly 18,000, add 18,000 as PLAT, and then add another 10,000 (or 20,000 if I flew an extra 2,000 miles) on top of this? So, one RT would be something like 46,000 miles, and 2 would be close to EXEC PLATINUM? I can't believe this is correct, it seems so generous. Am I making a mistake somewhere in this??
