Personally miles earning IS important enough to me to double check when flying an unfamilar partner airline or an odd class pops up but maybe that's just me.
It's important enough for me too, which is why I didn't give my AA number when I made the reservation. I checked on the Asian Miles website. It's really not all that clear. If you have 7 (SEVEN) different econmy classes that earn points, and who knows how many that do not, things can get confusing if you're not as familiar with their program.
