I recently noticed a simple laminated card in my hotel room (Don't remember which hotel, as I stayed in four different hotels over this past week), which was simply titled "Price List" and listed approximately fifty non-consumable items found in the hotel room and their "prices." I assume its purpose was to dissuade customers from helping themselves to these items as I doubt anyone would wish to purchase a $5 plastic hanger.
