I seem to recall a thread a while ago about how Omni Hotels does not have any program/partnerships. I needed a room here in New Orleans for this Saturday night and practically everything was sold out buy my trusty Travel Agent got me a room at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel for $119/night (not too bad at all considering everything else was sold out!).

So, I went poking around the Omni website to see about the hotel and see if they in fact had any program or partnerships, and sure enough, they do:

But no where on the website could I find a way to sign up for this program or a phone number to call, so finally I just call their reservations number and ask how I can sign up.

Well, it turns out the way it works is that you can become a member of their Select Guest program only after you complete three stays in a twelve month period. On your third stay within the period they will sign you up for the program when you check in.

Anyone know anything more about this program? In particular, they mention that there are free night awards, what is the criteria for earning these awards? Anyone a member???
