I have read posts for a long time on this forum and I understood that if you booked each stay as a separate booking, then each night would post points as separate showing. Can people help?
I stayed at London Metropole last week. I booked for one night, 3 times and made the reservations at different dates and times as I was not sure whether I would be staying all 3 nights. So I held 3 reservations. I checked out each day and checked in again. But I am only showing one transaction for the 3 nights, though it shows on my bookings that I did stay 3 occasions. I was expecting 3 separate postings. Overall, my loss here is more relating to my BA points as I only get 500 when I was expecting 1500. I am also disappointed as I could have moved to other properties, I just decided to hang at same hotel to try it out. I have 3 separate invoices and they each show the amount due (expected to post) for each stay. I also may have lost out on the extra 1000 points for each stay as my settings were put to 1000 instead of an upgrade and I only have received one set of 1000 HH points.
Have I got this wrong- should I be entitled to each reservation as a separate stay or should I move properties next time - is this worth ringing up about?
