I'm curious also... I (okay, actually my company) paid at least $100 for mine as well (had to be special ordered from Gateway for my model).

I may now need to order another one as I have just discovered (as I'm about to board a transpac in a few minutes) that I seem to be missing the adapter piece that plugs in to the seat power outlet. Since CX sells them onboard, I'm probably going to breakdown and buy one in flight, but since I just purchased two more laptops for my team this week, I would be curious to know if there is a better deal out there before I order their adaptors.
