I am sorry to see that Swiss Air is finished, but it was a matter of bad management and strategy (buying into Sabena, etc.) that led to its downfall.
However, I agree with you that there is so much blood money residing in Swiss bank accounts. The Swiss bank privacy law is total BS and only benefits the crooked and evil among us. It's not just Holocaust money and gold that the Swiss are good at hiding (and trying to keep), it's UN aid money for starving children siphoned away by despotic regimes, it's laundered drug money, and it's where all the ****ing terrorists hide their cash. Having said that, I don't think anyhing would have prevented the attacks on September 11.
