Exactly. Furthermore if the use of these wireless devices could indeed potentially cause a catastrophe they would not allow passengers to bring them on board at all, instead of just relying on the FA's to police their use during flight. It would be the same thing to allow passengers to bring a loaded gun onboard and just instruct them not to use it during flight.
