"Disconnect your wireless mouse, sir"
There's a ban on in-flight wireless mouse use above 10,000 feet.
It's listed nowhere in Sky Magazine, of course.
Tonight's 5-hour trans-con - with one broken lav and no IFE - had an FA holding something called an "F-A-R" spiral notebook, invoking the rule prohibiting the use of a wireless mouse. I was not the only offender.
The fear, presumably, is this interferes with the navigational equipment. I'd be curious to learn whether Delta enforces this on its own. Wasn't it among the last legacy carriers to allow cell phone use after touch-down?
