I would be keen to see what the benefits are going to be for Koru Club members. Is there going to be any promotion to get Jade & Sliver members to join KC (hint wave the $250 joining fee). The $250 joining fee is a real killer for anyone that has to pay for it out of there own pocket, theirs a few others on here that are also put off joining for that reason.
All my travel is for leisure, if KC was a reasonable price. All of my Leisure would be with NZ for sure
The PE seats will from memory be sold as PE across the Tasman as well - I will check on that and come back
We are looking at options for Koru Club at present
The challenge for us is that our costs are going up dramatically and we dont want to drop the standards in the lounge as others have done
Feedback from Koru members have been that they dont want to pay more similar to your comments about the joining fee
We are trying a few options for off peak or leisure travel
We are treating the business time when the lounges are generally full as sacred to our members
There is a campaign out now to buy a ticket on Tasman at a leisure time and it will include free membership
We are also looking at an offpeak membership which will let us use the lounges more at off peak times and use the dollars from that to offset the costs so we can keep the price to members down.
There is also an offer out to Jades and Silvers at the moment that I am trying to remember the details of
