In a famous New York Hotel, I was once coming out of my room and the maids were going around with their carts. One of them asked me whether I wanted a cookie. I said yes, only to have a shock that I was charged $6 for the cookie when I checked out the next day!
I have been charged for my own bottled water when they saw the empty bottle in the trash, charged for "free" internet service, cahrged for parking when I didn't even have a car, carged for telephone service that belonged to the previous guest.....
