Several years ago when PC announced only 5 pts/$ at Staybridge Suites I vowed to not stay there anymore since I am a points whore and would never be able to stomache getting only half what I should. Since then I've stuck to my plan and only stayed at Staybridges on award nights.

But presently I'm living at a Holiday Inn just 5 miles from the Staybride that I'd rather be at. I have 2 more months here, so I was thinking that maybe if I talk to the manager there and explain my situation perhaps he will agree to credit me the full 10 pts/$. Has anyone ever done anything like this?
