Plus I'm kind of intimidated by the number of programs that are available. I hate to commit myself for an year to a job I start hating in the first month.
It depends on where you go. I have a friend who was teaching in China, and he didnt' like it, and another coworker was in Malaisia and really liked it and ended up staying for another contract. YOu will probably need to ask around, find participants and see what the programs entail.
