I was surprised to learn there are a fair number of off-shore folks who fly in from Alaska. They work 7 or 14 days, fly home, and then do it all over again. When you only make the trip one or twice a month, the commute is not all that bad.
With that in mind, coupled with CO running a ANC-SEA segment, I'm suprised they don't run a SEA-MSY that connects well with the ANC connecting segment.
