Oil is what is making that happen.

The many flights means that I normally get upgraded, and I'm up there with nothing folks from Shell, ExxonMobil, and various oil and gas contractors. Even the folks working in operations or on the rigs are frequent fliers and up in first.

I was surprised to learn there are a fair number of off-shore folks who fly in from Alaska. They work 7 or 14 days, fly home, and then do it all over again. When you only make the trip one or twice a month, the commute is not all that bad.
