I noticed during the donate miles to Haiti program I believe the program said:

"MP+ members and United employees can donate their miles to support Haiti relief efforts."

This led me to wonder do United employees earn significant amounts of mileage plus miles? Are they allowed to be part of the program, and do they gain any special benefits in MP+ for being employees?
