Delta 24hr Risk Free Cancellation
I purchased a flight 3 days ago, which has since dropped in price. I called in about the price guarantee, but the agent said since it's been more than 24 hours, I'd be assessed a $150 change fee which made it uneconomical.
She went on to say that within 24 hours, you can cancel any booking with no charge. I asked her if I could cancel my flight every 24 hours and rebook it without any fee, and she said sure.
Seems like this would be a way to make sure you got any price drops without getting hit with the change fee - though a lot of hassle. Anyone ever try it?
