I called yesterday. Redemptions for RTW can only be on Skyteam , the 16 sector limit is still in place, and there is NO MPM on RTW itineraries purchased with miles. After playing the "you've got the wrong department" game for about 10 mins, I finally got through to the RTW award number, and the woman was actually very friendly, helpful, and not in a rush to get me off the phone (like most Delta agents).
