So I call my corporate travel department and ask them to change my March 19 HSV-DEN flight to March 18. A change fee of $150 in addition a fare increase was charged. Literally 10 minutes after the ticket was reissued, UA issues a waiver for DEN:

UA waited very long to make a decision regarding DEN and the upcoming winter storm. The city I'm traveling from today only had 1 afternoon flight available today...which didn't give me a whole lot of time to make a decision on whether or not to change. It's not my money, so personally I don't care. Can my corporate travel department get the $$$ money back from UA?
It never hurts to ask. In this case, your corporate travel department will do all the (dirty) work.
