president's day as in monday feb 21, 2011. I am thinking of the week of Feb 19 to Feb 27, or feb 12 to Feb 20. If those are likely to be significantly more crowded than maybe feb 5 to Feb 13 or perhaps the week before that. If beaches and hotel pools are not that much more crowded during president's day we'll probably go then to save the day of vacation.

I was thinking of 8 days split evenly between maui and kauai. I was planning on staying at both Hyatts if it matters.
