You also shouldn't forget that the strike is fundamentally unfair to crew. Only about 1/3rd of crew are rostered for the strike dates. The 2/3rd that are not rostered can support the strike verbally but will not be putting their staff travel perks at risk because they aren't due to be working anyway.
If you were 'unlucky' enough to be rostered on a strike days, you would be thinking carefully about why you were about to shaft yourself and your family for staff travel perks when 2/3rd of your colleagues are risking b*gger all/
