I mean, seriously there is a thread on upgrades every other day.

I have a great idea. How about no upgrades given out until the day of departure, at the gate. This way, delta can make the money up until an hour out and you guys can't complain of "shenanigans". Release the seats at the gate at that time and then board when you see everyone there to claim the upgrade.

I'm sorry guys this is getting rediculous, if you really want the seat, buy the A fare. When I purchase tickets, sometimes the A fare is about the same amount as the K/H/B fare that I buy sometimes less expensive.

Oh and that silver that was .....ing about no upgrade on Monday ATL-SAN afternoon after you claimed to have purchased a full Y fare, when you dropped your boarding pass at my feet by pushing your way in front of me and I picked it up I saw a T not a Y I was dually happy when I turned left and you went right.
