Being a citizen doesn't help much either. I have global entry so passport control and customs took less than a minute. But you need to wait to claim your luggage, and last time I waited 40 minutes before they finally roll out the bags. Then going through TSA, there was long lines and the TSA agents constantly changing rules between putting shoes on belt and putting shoes in bins didn't help.
