Several years ago a Canadian farmer who owned land on both sides of the US Canadian boarder was in the middle of a harvest and a storm was moving in. Rather than leave his harvest in the field he took it north into Canada as he'd done for decades. This time the Canadian customs people caught him, confiscated his harvest, and fined him for illegal importation of wheat. When you get into the sights of the government neither life, liberty, nor property are safe.
