Either which way, they're going to have to close one done for construction on the new terminal. It's bad enough that the clubs are outside security. If they close one AC down, you would have to walk outside to get to the other terminal to reach the other one.

JFK has majority intl volume with a ton of J and F class passengers. They would have a hard time competing with other carriers crossing the pond without a lounge product.

But remember, one day there will be a brand new shiny AA terminal at JFK. They have made a lot of progress; you can see the midfield terminal house structure going up pretty quickly. I'm just wondering how they will finish off the other part of the terminal while keeping operations up. They already bulldozed Pier C. Which pier will be the next to go? If you look A, B, and D, all of them appear pretty full gate wise.
