United is filling up the planes, and for some routes (like the ones I want to fly ) they are able to get considerably more money then other airlines on some of their routes (one is for example $249 / $279 / $322 / $440 for American, Virgin, Delta and United in that order). They really don't need to spend money on advertising right now.
