Best and Worst Experiences

We'll start with the Best:

1. Banff Springs, Whistler, San Francisco.. Fairmont Kea Lani and Fairmont Orchid (probably because its Hawaii and each stay is at least a week)

2. Empress, Chateau Lake Louise

3. Hotel Mac Donald - seldom upgraded, but stays been good.. probably there around 7 times. Vancouver Airport - seldom upgraded, but booking signature, only better rooms are 2 suites in the entire hotel.. almost impossible to get. Waterfront - seldom upgraded, stayed there at least couple of times. Sonoma Inn and Spa - Didn't upgrade us, but we were only there for one night, hotel needs renovations, but spa was excellent.

Some not so best

4. Miami Turnberry - Stayed there during a Hurricane warning.. let us stay at the hotel during the entire warning, although all hotels were vacated. Hotel first class, in spite of circumstances.. but could have been honest with us before stepping on the plane that a hurricane warning was happening.. spoke with hotel manager and said everything was 100% fine the day before we left.

5. Jasper Park Lodge - can't remember the problem, but we left 5 nights into a 10 night stay.. manager at the time wouldn't help. Haven't been back since.. and this was 4 or 5 years ago. Might go back sometime because our memory doesn't serve us well.
