The advise in regards to petrol station is a good one. And not only an issue during holidays but also when driving at night as many stations are not 27/7. And distances between stations can be long.
Definitely. Consider anything under half a tank as an empty tank and you should be ok. Twice I've pulled into stations running on fumes and it isn't an enjoyable experience
