I have had a good look through the ultimate guides plus done a search and it looks as recently as last year like some 777s are fitted with AVOD and some are not.

In order to plan whether to bring my laptop and DVDs to play movies or whether I could leave it at home, I thought I would speak to BA You First for a definitive answer, which I did yesterday.

After a couple of minutes on hold, I was told that all 777s definitely have AVOD.

Don't want to be suspicious but is this definitely the case? If not, I'll be travelling to EWR on a 777 with 17 First seats if that helps.. does anyone know whether the 17F 777s all have AVOD or none have AVOD or is it just pot luck??
