Thanks very much r99! As much as I love Amsterdam and agree that wandering around on my own early Sunday could be fun, I'll probably be more inclined to sleep for a few hours upon arrival, especially since I'll be passing through again and seeing friends there a month later.

But if I do head into town, is there a place where I can store my carry-on bag (which is all the luggage I'll have) for a few hours? I'd prefer airside, though I don't know if that's possible.
