maybe somebody can help. After the latest changes in the AY+ programm I need to make a decision where to put my points in the future.

My flying pattern is like thi:

Once a month I fly to BKK in C (normaly with AY), at least two times a year I fly to LA (normaly with BA). I want to redeem my points for C or F flights to EZE. At the moment I m Gold with AY+ with approx. 120.000 points. Status is very important to me, since I spend a lot of time a airports and I want to have it easy there.

My upcomeing scheduled tripps are

March AY to BKK J
April AY to BKK J
May BA to LAX J
May AY to BKK J
June AY to BKK J
July AY to BKK J
Aug AY to BKK J
Sept AY to BKK J
Sept BA to LAX J
and so on and so on

I m not a member of BAE at the moment, will it work if I start to collect with BAEC now? Or do I need to do a BA flight first.

So any input is very welcome.
