This topic is about overall hotel experience. Please list any details pertaining to worst stays bc I'm sure some Fairmont honchos will read this and hopefully improve.

Best: Well it's tough a call, but even though it's less then an hour from my house the Banff Springs wins this one. Yes I have experienced one of their small uninspiring rooms but since I stay here regularly I get great upgrades with certs and staff have been exceptional.

Worst: Victoria Empress, they gave me a free upgrade and didn't even want my room upgrade cert I called FPC to use. The room was filthy and the worst "Upgrade" ever. Glasses in the room had way too many finger and lip prints I won't go into more details but luckily I let my cousin enjoy it most of the nights while I seeked refuge at my friends new townhouse with an amazing water view a 10 minute walk away.
My facial at the Willowstream was exceptional... even better then Banff. However how can you charge Plat members or anyone else to use the Willowstream facilities in this hotel?
I have a previous bad experience at this hotel but before I mention it I'm curious what you folks have to add?
