Many moons ago, can't remember if it was on NZ in F on my way from AKL to LAX with a stop in Nandi, or on CP, but Col Sitiveni Rabuka in F in the row in front of me. Had an empty seat beside him, I asked if I may join once we were airborne. After his security detail checked me out, I joined him for the flight to Nandi.
