However, the first sentence of the T&C on the page where you sign up for promotional emails from Delta reads:

"Eligibility:
Only members who receive this communication directly from Delta Air Lines are eligible to participate in this offer. This offer is non-transferable."

Seems to me, it's a targeted offer.
