I will be transiting through CAI for 18 hours and want to go downtown. I assume I qualify for the transit visa. For less than 24 hours, there is no charge, right? I find it hard to believe that the agents will let you waltz out of the airport even if you have proof of an onward flight. Has anyone done this before? Is there a charge?
