LX does not fly to CMN and the only LH FRA-CMN flight departs late evening, post 2200 with an ugly red-eye return leaving around 1AM. And since CMN is in Africa, its a much higher reward level. We wound up booking SFO-MUC-MAD (as close as we could get) on the LH NA-Europe First award ticket and then IB for a cheap MAD-RAK (less than $200 RT). EasyJet also flies MAD-RAK and both fly MAD-CMN, as does Royal Air Maroc. Adding to the fun of planning this trip was that many flights do not operate every day, and if they do, times can vary by the day of the week.
