Honestly, airline pilots are not the only professionals who endure hardships on the front end for bigger benefits on the back end. The experience thing is certainly a concern, but the only way to get experience is through working. Everybody is inexperienced at what they do at some point, whether you do brain surgery or work at McDonald's.
Only the individual can decide if the money is worth it or not. That is not for us to decide. It's not like an inexperienced pilot who is paid a lot of money is any better than an inexperienced pilot who is paid very little.
