Somebody is confused. G* (G1, G2, G3) bonuses have nothing to do with prepaid rates or non prepaid rates.

But if you were on a pre-paid rate, I can see that it might be impossible to pay for that stay using certs. If you have $50+ in incidental charges, you can probably use the certs for those charges.
