So for those us waiting for Air Canada to tell us how many points will be expiring Jan 1, 2014, apparently, they don't have to!

Until now I did not really care, thinking they (meaning Aeroplan) would help us manage their new tricky rule. It seems it doesn't happen. I am curious about the result of their careless business decison, i.e. partly getting rid of what they owe members, since even the most careful AP member won't be able to use each and every mile at the proper time. Everybody will lose at least some miles. I would be happy to be wrong about that, just give me the explanation and I will be grateful.
