I go to Toronto at least three times a year.

I would recomend the Courtyard on Yonge over the Marriott on Bloor/Yonge. It is closer to the gay bars and night life and if you like theater it is a little closer walk to the theaters. It's only a few steps from the College subway stop. Also closer to the Eaton center. There is a place simlar to Tix across the street from the eaton center with half off theater and event same day tickets.

Another hotel I recomend is the Delta Chelsea. It is on yonge by the Dundas subway stop and very convenient to shopping, theater and the gay night life.

If you like dessert drinks go to the gay martini bar Byzantium on Church Street. They have a monks candy bar martini you would love
