I would have to say...

1 - Learning the true value of frequent flyer miles - in money terms (how much they cost, is the mileage run worth it, etc.), how to best use them (international upgrades as opposed to free tickets).

2 - The sharing of targeted prmotion codes. This one alone earned me enough for a free trip to Europe!

3 - Fewmiles' website! Without that reference, we'd all be in the dark as to certain issues.
