This really is a tough one, as there are SO MANY things I've learned here (& been so grateful for)...

I suppose if I had to distill an absolute top 3 (versus top 3 for a given program, etc.), it would have to be the things which relate to strategy, & are used somewhat "across the board", regardless of airline or frequent travel program:

1) The many testimonials which essentially function as "proof" that so many CSRs provide incorrect information--the lesson of, "call, call again" has been drummed in as a result (& proven highly useful).

2) The timely reporting of various promos & their respective associated specifics, anecdotes documenting exceptions (e.g. targetted promos actually being available to others), & strategies used or suggested to most cost- &/or time-effectively accomplish the goal(s).

3) Mileage runs--& the many tips & tricks regarding such, including the timely reporting of specific origination-&-destination city pairs & the fare code specifics associated w/ such.

Lastly, a very special "best" ranking goes to the Coupon Connection--of many things regarding it for which I'm grateful, a words-cannot-express it, emotional feeling of gratitude is felt re: the folks I've interacted w/ in there who are responsible for my being able to travel a specific route this year when the fares associated w/ it were increased a shocking, subsequently-out-of-reach-&-unaffordable amount. The assistance I've received has meant so very much to me, & made such a difference.

I cannot thank the board community enough.
