I had to call Delta for a res because I had a voucher and (surprise) Delta.com wouldn't recognize it.

The congenial agent made my booking along with the $20 call-in fee. I protested and she apologized. Later, when she went over the total charge, there it was again. I protested again, and she took at least half an hour to try to remove it, eventually getting the supervisor involved, but they couldn't do it. She promised that there would be a refund on my CC.

I wonder. I have a feeling I'll be on the phone another hour if I want to get my $20.

She also said they were getting new software on 3-21 that would make it possible for them to book a ticket for their golds+ without charging the fee.
