I had an incredible time on GLON7(?) on New Year's Eve 2009/2010. It was a reward stay but got a great upgrade to a Bosphorous view room and a bottle of Turkish sparkling wine a few nights in.

The grounds of this hotel are incredible, the service and staff are great, and the lounge is in my top 3.

Istanbul itself is probably the most amazing city, all-round, I have visited outside of Asia. The history is amazing.

I can't wait until I come back to Istanbul.
