I suspect someone at the hotel reads FT, which is great -- the day after I made my post above about the impersonal service, I went up to the club room and suddenly everyone was calling me by name -- and no, there weren't even any epithets attached. Nice touch for the last day of a 7 night stay but would have been a lot more impressive had it started earlier.
