I agree that FS KH used to be very high density when it first opened, but after the Tsunami (5 years ago?) they closed for 20 months and completely redesigned the resort (they just created a much bigger fitness facility and kid's club too). I prefer the overwaters here, but the land-based rooms are much, much better now - everything from deluxe upwards being very light and with great new private pools.
They also widened the sand pathways that cut through the resort and added a metre or two of land on the edge of the resort, so that the villas could be more spacious. I hardly recognised the place it was so good.
